Christmas
for Kids
A little Christmas magic.
A whole community of heart.
Together, we help local children celebrate the season with gifts chosen especially for them.
WISHES BECOME GIFTS
How the magic happens
Christmas for Kids connects Elbert County families, local businesses, and neighbors who want to make the season brighter.
Families share
Families complete an application with each child's age, wants, needs, and clothing sizes.
Businesses host
Local businesses volunteer to host Christmas trees with card ornaments made up from each child's wants, needs and gift ideas.
Neighbors give
Shoppers choose a card, shop for that child, and return the unwrapped gifts to the business where they picked up the card.
ECCO gathers
We collect the gifts from participating businesses and sort everything by family and child, ready for pickup on December 19.
A little care goes a long way: children's names are kept private on the tree cards.
FOR FAMILIES
Start with a wish list.
This program is open to Elbert County residents only. Pick up an application at one of the locations below and tell us about your children—their ages, favorite things, wants, needs, and clothing sizes.

FOR OUR GENEROUS NEIGHBORS
Choose a card.
Make a child's Christmas.
Look for a Christmas for Kids tree at a participating business in Elbert County. Choose an anonymous card and use the child's interests, wishes, needs, and sizes to guide your shopping.
Return the gifts to the same business where you picked up the card. ECCO will collect and organize them for family pickup.
Another way to give a little magic
You can also make a monetary donation to Christmas for Kids through ECCO’s Venmo account.
