ECCO Thrift Store Sales Associate

Position Title: Thrift Store Associate

Part Time position/ Must be able to work Saturdays

Primary Objective of position: To assist with preparing donations for sale, providing customer service and assisting with day-to-day operations.

Starting wage: $16.50

Essential functions and responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist shoppers with purchases, including ringing sales on cash register.

Share ECCO’s mission statement with shoppers and public.

Prepare to accept and evaluate donations. Organize and maintain donations

areas throughout the day.

Clean, price, and display merchandise with Thrift Store procedures.

Participate in store special events as scheduled by Thrift Store management.

Desired minimum qualifications

Effective communication skills.

Experience in a retail work setting. Create displays to attract customer

attention.

Ability to work with a variety of people.

Must be organized and personable.

Must be able to lift and carry donation items weighing up to 50lbs. Must

sustain a full 7-hour day of standing, walking, lifting, and bending.

Schedule requires ability to work Saturdays.

Must have strong knowledge of fashion trends, brands and quality control.
